blending color

hello everyone, ive been practicing coloring and blending attempts seem to have me at a bump in the road, i usually use curved mags and would love to hear tips on blending techniques, i was thinking maybe a flat mag would be better for the blended area but not sure, any suggestions would be gratefully appreciated, thanx. :D

Re: blending color

I prefer to use curved mags for most larger blending -
but you can blend with any type of tattoo needle grouping.
The actual blending is more in the pressure and how the machine it hitting than in the needle grouping -
in my opinion.
