Grey Wash / Chart

Not sure if anyone has seen this - if you are newish to tattooing - it can be helpful because you might not want to invest in every single wash and black out there. Check with your Mentor who you are apprenticing under - to see what he / she uses.

I have had positive experience with Silverback tattoo ink, as well as the Kuro Sumi Hiroshima and Ninja Smoke.

You can see the attached image - (yes i know it is NOT an original design!) but I did it the other day using silverback for the shading and starbrite black...
This was first session - took a few hours, we will go over the whole thing again to darken it up though when it heals.

I've been using talons for years with no problems. I used Pelikans for a while, but it was a little silvery and I didn't like it as much.

So far, Kuro's greywash and Ichi's medium wash seem to give the powdery shading visual on skin. I was hoping to try Silver Back....but, you need to be shop status to get it. =(
