SHADING HELP

Shading help idk if i'm doing it right im using that fake practice skin and idk how well i got the ink in and when i wash it off i think im pulling out a lot of the ink and im using good ink at least i think its good ink

Using my limited experience as a guide my initial guess would be you are just working too fast. Look on the left side of the star where it is a nice, smooth, dark blue. That is where you were really focusing on getting the color up against the edge. As a result, you got the ink in. The larger areas, where it is spotty...those are where you simply got tired of putting color in and wanted to be moving on. You begin to cover larger areas quicker and your machine can't keep up with your hand.

I'm new., so take it for what it's worth. (not much!) :)

Thanks man and you were right i was really focused on one side and got tired and start rushing, so i just got to stay focused.
