tattooing a foot

I've tattooed the top of a foot once with no issues. I did shorten the needle a bit to compensate for the thinner skin to about a dime out of the tube at the bottom of the stoke. Ink stayed in, healed well. Other than that didn't really do anything different. Anyone else have any tricks or tips on feet?

Re: tattooing a foot

I dont really have any tips, as I just did my first foot last week, turned out good, healing well. But it was a grueling 6 hours start to finish, with too many breaks and a lot of stopping. Only problem I really had was that the ink didn't take very well, and I had to go over it a couple times, sped my machine up a little bit and it worked a little better.. u can see the results in the post your work here topic I have a pic there
