Watercolor Help

I'm starting to get into watercolor because i have been told it is the medium between tattooing.Anyone have any tips? Spit shading ect. Thanks in advance

Best practice is to look for a book on Amazon.com about water color...

watercolor is good for designing flash, but i don't know if it is best to simulate tattoo...
colored pencil (when done properly) is a good medium for tattoo artists to work in as well..
but anything you can do outside of tattoo will help your progress as an apprentice.
