I finally got an apprenticeship and the two artists who are training me have started a comic book sleeve on my leg and its awesome.

Just wanted to know what you thought of their work?

      Cheers

Very nice. Comic book art translates so well to tattoo. Being a batman fan i really like this, and rreally enjoy the use of cross hatching. Good stuff

Looks really nice actually. And I just have to repeat it that comic book art really looks well and translates well when used as an inspiration for a tattoo though I know that most people have a problem with losing interest with what they have tattooed which is something that you should not experience when you get to it altogether. Infinitely times more hurtful than what you have gotten into, initially.

I am making sure i cherry pick the images for the leg sleeve as well as my arms which are slowly being sleeved up. Being a comic fan from about the age of 8 and now being 34 im pretty sure i wont live to regret my image choices.

Being a comic fan and aspiring graphic novelist as well as a tattooist in the making, I’m lovin the joker ink, dude. I am a DC comics girl all the way, and The Killing Joke is one of my favorite Batman stories. Good choice. I might’ve considered one of the joker images from The Jigsaw Man. (It’s an Arkham Asylum: Tales of Insanity book. Really good. You get the back stories to a couple of villains. I highly recommend it.)

Seeing as im saving the inside of my right leg for the perfect Batman image (still searching through my comics for the perfect image) the guys at work have started on my left leg with another comic book montage here is the first part which is Ironman.
