that is really good for your first shot Jj!
the shades are nice and soft, linework is pretty good in the eagle
i see some design issues in the stars but you’ll get better with that
i hate stars personally so I can see where you’re coming from
      keep up the good work!

next time try to do some ink on a Honeydew melon :)
id love to see what you come up with :)

      maybe some japanese work? ;)

Thanks ……. Yea I see what you see with the stars and some of the shading … was just trying to fill them in and adjusting the volts to see when the ink started to get more solid …. I will have to try the Honeydew melon

Do you have experience with Rotary Machines ???

nah I use coils. I like coils because you can customize them to fit what you want :D

the only thing your power supply does is adjust how powerful you rneedle hits

what you want to do is start off at 0 and slowly increase the voltage until you hear it “kick over” the sound will change and it litterally sounds like it’s kicking over haha

raise it about another half volt after that

you then take your finger and touch the A-bar nipple
if the needle drops back a lot ther eisnt enough voltage
if the needle doesnt drop back at all theres too much

you want it to drop back slightly, but not too much :)
