first tat

this is the first real tattoo ive done. im still pretty hung up on getting my shading down so im going to wait a bit. ive experimented on myself with some graywash but have trouble getting a good gradual fade from black to a light gray. ill post a pic of that one later to hopefully get some better input. any tips on this one though would b appreciated.

Did you rework some lines or did you slow down when you got to parts you thought might be tricky? Inconsistent line width would be the only “criticism” I’d have of this one. Even that is a stretch…color/shading will pull it all together nicely.

Went back over some lines they looked a little to shakey for me. I think maybe I’m just not taking my time
