What does everyone think about the practice skin? I tried it and didnt really care for it, when you go to wipe away the access ink it smears onto the rest of the practice skin and then it looks like crap, maybe i’m doing something wrong, not sure I would love some pointers and I also saw in a videop that you can use melons to tattoo on

i pretend like its real skin, i put petroleum jelly on the stencil so when i DAB the ink, it comes off. DONT WIPE. DAB. at least that works for me, and i dont have ink all over the practice skin. hope that helps a bit. also, most practice skins arent there to give u the feel of skin, they are there to help with building the muscles in your hand and to practice hand speed. Dont get me wrong, you can lay some sweet pics in practice skin, but as far as needle depth feel, its WAY off from real skin. My suggestion is to try pig skin. its the closest thing to the real deal, at least for me. GOOD LUCK!
