Practice Skins?

What are your thoughts on buying practice skins? Are they helpful? Are they better than fruit to practice on? I dont have a formal mentor to ask anymore, so any help on how I can practice on my own would be greatly appreciated (before I even think of doing other people or myself, I want to get good practice)

In my experience the most commonly referred practice skin is a honeydew melon. But you’ll want to remember when you get to real skin that you will need to keep the skin stretched tight or the tattoo won’t be even close to having straight lines

The rubber practice skin type dealies you can buy are pretty lame
Ive used them a few times and really don’t like the feel
its nothing like human skin
Like Infamous said: grab some honeydew melons and practice on those :D

You get so many fake skin for practice. You can also buy this type of skin online their are so many site for buying practice skin. This is the best way to practice for tattoo.
