I was just wondering if you needed grips on tubes? I’m more partial to the thinner sizes and If i dont have to buy disposable grips that would be cool too

the whole tube assembly should be disposable. From stem, to grip. As far as needing a grip, it is advisable. with the way you hold the machine, and the way the weight is distributed it causes a lot less strain on your fingers, hands, and wrists with the grip. artists sometimes use large grips to hold it in a more comfortable position for holding it, and reduce strain on their hands.

I’d say technically they are not needed, but once you get into it and you are holding that machine for 6 hours or more you’ll probably change your mind about not wanting one
