too deep

ok i have always heard you got be careful not to go too deep or over work the skin. i have never had this problem but as i get mor tattoos under my belt the fear of doing so gets wores so what do you look for while your tatting to know your not going to deep or over working an area what does the skin look like when you have messed up?

lines that are too deep look like a “valley” or “groove”. You dont want that look at all. Shading too deep or over working sometimes looks like oatmeal. hope that helps!
