I like the sitting dragon, you got very good shades on that. And fancy pencils? well its good to have an array of different pencils, but you can get great shades with just one single HB pencil.

The idea of the can is really good, and you could give it great shades. The reason for the can is good, is the bended area, which is infact a very difficult shade, since you have to compensate for all the curves in the bended area.
Unfortunatly, you onle made the background shadow, and no shades at all on the can. Which gives it a flat look.

The buildings. Dont lay down ;)

(I’m not the judge, just giving you some pointers, not trying to be a dick here)

Yea on the buildings I just didnt know what to draw so I was just laying down.

(Reminds me, need to get a refill of coffey ;) )

Nah, it looks good. Are you trying to do anamorphic drawings?

Hi Lennart, Yea.. I’m getting my own refill as we speak. Mmmm to tell you the truth I’ve never heard that term as I’ve taught myself since I was young (29 now) to draw. Never been to art school or anything in the likes… I just find it easier to draw objects like these that have cast shadows. :) And thanks for saying it looks nice.

Its fun drawing objects like that.

I’m sure you’ve seen anamorphic drawings, but guessing you didnt know the name. :ugeek:

Here is just a quick drawing I just did, just for you. :D

Its basically drawing from an angle, so it looks 3D, now this one, is drawed from both an angle and with folded papir :)

Well I never attended any art school my self. ;)

Thing is that alot of tattoo designs specially flowers and such have to be sort of like that to stand out and not look ‘cartoony’ or how you said..’flat’

If you look closely the one on the left is real the one on the right is drawn. ;) or is it the other way around?
