      Hello. I really appreciate that you’re on this forum, there’s a lot experienced tattoo artists that keep their lip buttoned while kids are scratching each other up with guitar strings.

      I prefer to make my washes on the spot in the ink caps, I primarily use the small ones (#9’s I believe) and for a light wash I’ll do one drop of kuri sumi lining ink and distilled water to the top. Then two drops for something darker, and so on. I’ve also used witch hazel, which contains some alcohol.

      Upload pictures at tinypic.com instead. You don’t need to register. The only downside of that is you after it’s uploaded, you have no control over it. If you’re proud of your work, stick your name on it and it won’t be a problem.
