I have not done extensive
testing on tattoo machine metallurgy to measure resistance and
magnetic field changes, nor would I really care to. With that being
said, there are a few organizations out there that have done
a great deal of research and have developed very scientific
ways to measure numerous things on a tattoo machine. While
this is becoming an acceptable practice in the tattoo industry,
it is still very common for tattoo artists to use only their human
senses to adjust and maintain their tattoo equipment.
