Tattoo aftercare is our eighth goal in the succession of this text.
If not done properly, the tattoo’s design and color may greatly
diminish. Never underestimate the power of the skin’s healing
process and the importance of customer education on proper
technique. I assume you already have tattoos yourself and have
seen the healing process first hand. You may have had work
done by multiple artists and seen different aftercare techniques.
This text will cover a few techniques that seem to be widely accepted
and preferred, but are by no means the only way for a
tattoo to heal.
