They look pretty good to me. I really like the cross design. Awesome job. I can’t wait to see more pieces.

Yeah, Sumi does have outline and wash shots. I’ll definitely check those out.

Aside from cost, a draw back might be a lot of wasted ink if you like to mix your own colors. I know I do. Has anybody been to a shop where they used ink shots?

Clients want to go to a tattoo shop that they feel 100% comfortable with and can trust 100%. I’ve read that going the extra step to wear even a face mask can result in increased business. So concerning cost, using ink shots could definitely result in increased business, especially if it’s a shop policy. But then again many artists make their own inks. I don’t know!

I can’t wait until this forum does pick up, I think it’s a fantastic idea.

In addition to that, what about adjusting the power supply with dirty gloves? Talk about cross contamination.

Spray tends to get messy and I feel like it’s a little bit uneasy about it with the mist getting all over the place. I use the “stream” on a spray bottle. I have no idea where to find a squeeze bottle other than online. It seems less messy either way.

I haven’t used them yet. Although it’s a lot more sanitary, it’s not really as cost effective as a good old fashioned bottle of ink. I intend to try them, although I’d rather get a set of different colors rather than an entire box of one color to be used seldom and I’m 100% faithful to Kuro Sumi lining ink. There wouldn’t happen to be some kind of trial kit to purchase, would there?

That’s interesting. I heard all Superior is crap but it makes sense to change out the weak parts. I outta do that. I’m using iron, brass, and stainless steel frames with plastic tubes. The balance isn’t exactly ideal.

Honestly, I have a hard time remembering to come here as the previous forum could go on for days without a single new reply so checking back every day wasn’t one of my top priorities. I understand running a website can be tough and expensive to say the least but maybe you should rely on donations and sponsors rather than drive your customers away with a fee, even if it is just $10. At least wait until there’s a huge demand or something or until everything’s up. Is there a donation button somewhere?

I am enjoying the new look and I can’t wait until everything’s up. Great job so far!
