I’m game!! Sounds motivating, or maybe I’m just bored too!! Either way, the outcome could be interesting.

I thought so, could be the technique change as well. If the saying is true that you get what you pay for. That ink must be good!! I wasn’t prepared for the $10 for 2oz price tag.

I wish I was just out of high school again. It’s hard to do an old school scrub the toilet, sweep the shop floor apprenticeship when you have a house and family to keep up with. I thank those of you who comment , and share their knowledge . I can’t wait to use your tips.

Maybe try stretching the skin a lil tighter and slowing down ur hand a little to get a good solid line first time, Idk if this helps , what kind of ink you using? Could maybe be the machine speed as well

Thanks for the advise by the way.

The ink is prism. And I Tend to believe I may be moving a little faster than I should. Also trying to figure out how to work off the needle tips a little more, rather than having the tube almost touching skin. Semi frustrated at this point. Just need more practice!!

      Nice pencil work

Thank-you, I feel pretty comfy with a mechanical pencil and a q-tip. Trying to step up the machine skills. It’s a bit more challenging.

looks like a solid first effort.

If you have the whole prizm kit use the regular black for lining rather than the tribal. It is a thinner mix and goes in smoother. The tribal black is meant for solid fills. I’ve actually thinned it a bit with witch hazel to line…just seems to go in better for me.

      Mark

I will try that on my next one, makes since. My other blank leg has been staring at me the last couple days. Lol. Thanks for the advice. Are the prizm inks worth messing with? Will they hold up in the skin?

Looks good! what did you use for shading???

I whipped up a one drop wash , and used a 7fs. I’ve since added a little more shading and a banner to the piece. Will take another picture and post tonight.
