Sometimes it is hard for artists to remain vigilant in regards to
disease and infection prevention. That is why it is highly recommended
for all studios to
hold internal, mandatory,
refresher training for all
employees, even those
who do not directly tattoo
clients. Chances
are, even the individuals
who count the money
will at some time clean
tubes, take out biohazard
rubbish, dispose of
sharps containers, or
run the autoclave every now and then. The bottom line is that
this stuff may be dry, it may be common sense, but it really is
an important aspect of this profession, and it is simply not going
away. If you have no experience in a tattoo studio, then it is
imperative for you to review these lessons prior to even tinkering
with your tattoo equipment.
