When you are dealing with coils you should not always
have the mindset that more wraps is better. Less
wraps on a machine will typically make your machine
run faster. They will also require less voltage because
the current can travel around the cores faster due
to less resistance. There are a lot of variables in the
wraps themselves, like what gauge of wire was used.
You will also have to think about how big the cores
are. The type of needle configuration you are running
makes a difference in how you setup your machine!
More wraps is not always better…
